The UEFA Champions League is the main and most pretigious competition between european clubs. The first edition of the European Champions' Cup, as it was formerly named, took place in the 1955/56 season, when spanish side Real Madrid were the champions.

Originally, the cup was organized on a knock-out basis and including only the countries' champions. However, the format was changed by the 1992/93 season, when the championship named was changed to UEFA Champions League.

Nowadays, the league is divided in a three-stage qaulifying competition before getting into the two main stages. In the first main stage, 32 clubs are divided in 8 groups and the group champions and the runner-ups go through the next round. The second stage includes 16 teams divided again in groups of four clubs. Again, the group champions and the runner-ups go through the next round, the quarterfinals. From this stage on, the league changes into a knock-out basis until the great final, played in a neutral venus previously established.

Here in this home page you can find the all-time results since the very first edition of the UEFA Champions League in 1955, as well as the all-time ranking and a special section with the Finals scores, venues and attendance. Within other good stuff, these are our main goal here: show you every result and stat from the beginning.
